It didnt matter if our rhymes were in english or if we played west coast hip hop covers that were unfamiliar. the crowd felt it last night. in our second performance in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, we rocked it for a young crowd of Bocafloja fans.
bass thumped off the walls of las velas, a three level club with tile floors, colorful lights and tables with candles. DJ dephcon scratching it up and Cambio flowing to la gente. que chido!! many ups to bocafloja for inviting us on this tour and asking to jump on stage with him for autonomo and tiempo, his two most popular songs.
for two songs at least we felt famous with the kids singing bocas words while we backed him up with live drums bass and guitars. and then we killed it off with mundo, Cambios new collab with bocafloja. that song hit!! memorable night. boca was signing the back of kids shirts. cambio gave some autographs too. good music translates all languages.
